WILTSHIRE were left in a spin yesterday as their victory hopes against Oxfordshire disappeared in a cloud of dust on a dry Banbury wicket.

On the final day of their opening Minor Counties Western Division fixture, Wiltshire were left chasing 402 yesterday.

But they were dismissed for 144 well before lunchtime, with Oxfordshire spinner Joe Porter doing the damage with a return of 6-36.

Scores: Oxfordshire 250 & 349-6, Wiltshire 198 & 144 (Porter 6-36).

Wiltshire's next fixture is a one-day knockout against Buckinghamshire at Beaconsfield on Sunday, June 12 with their next championship game coming on June 19/20/21, against Dorset at South Wilts.
