The first round of the Cotswold District Cricket Association Knock Out Cup, sponsored by Moore, Allen and Innocent, took place last week.
Two major upsets took place in games played in wet and cold conditions.
Notgrove's Newhook took 4-17 then scored 31 with the bat in his side's seven-wicket win over Malmsbury, and Dunn of Poulton scored 47 in their five-run victory over Bourton Vale.
Performance of the round was by Minety's Lorne Kitchen, who took 5-8 but still finished on the losing side.

Notgrove 84-3 (Newhook 31, Arkle 31): Northleach beat Cowley (abandoned, wet wicket).
