THE 2005 Swindon Railway Convention will be at STEAM.
The weekend brings together locomotives and rolling stock, model railway layouts and demonstrations, trade stands and lectures.
There will be a miniature sit-on railway offering rides and some of the UK's best model railway layouts. "The convention is for young and old, enthusiasts and families," said Coun Justin Tomlinson, cabinet member for Swindon Services.
The convention, on September 17 and 18, is organised in association with Steam Railway and Model Rail magazines.
Admission is £6.60 for adults, £4.20 for children and £4.30 for senior citizens. Family tickets available.
