Manufacturers, makers and growers in Wootton Bassett have just a few weeks left to be included in the free directory that will soon be distributed around the town.
The directory is part of a North Wiltshire District Council initiative called Made in the Wootton Bassett Area, aimed at raising awareness of local producers and encouraging the public to buy from local suppliers.
Coun Olivia Thomas has been working alongside the district council regeneration officer to collect contact details for the directory.
She said: "So far we've got about 30 producers but we'd like to get that up to 40 before we go to print. It's basically a really good opportunity for free advertising and there's no producer too small. If they make it and sell it then it can go in the directory."
The launch of the directory will take place during the town's festival on August 7 and will include a balloon race with a hamper full of local produce for the winner.
The deadline for details to be included in the directory is June 20. Anyone wanting to be included should contact North Wiltshire District Council's regeneration officer Damian Wood on (01249) 706523.
