CORSHAM midfielder Scott Lye said his team mates are determined to match last season's success.

Lye, 18, said he was looking for more glory after doing the double with Wiltshire U18s and winning the Wiltshire Senior Cup and finishing runners up in the Premier Division with Corsham.

He said: "The whole team's sticking together as far as I know apart from Nigel Curtis, who is retiring.

"Everyone was really pleased with how we did last season and we've got such a good bunch of lads and such good team spirit that I think we have a great chance of doing well again."

Lye, from Pyne Close, Rudlow, said without his Wiltshire commitments next year he hopes to put in even better performances at Corsham.

"Last year I could be playing up to three games a week and picking up little injuries let alone being tired.

"This year with one game a week plus may be a mid week game I should be able to do well.

"It's only been a few weeks but I want to be playing football again."
