GAZETTE & HERALD: THREE thousand vintage, veteran, classic and modern motorbikes will be descending on Calne next month for the Rotary Club's fifth motorcycle and summer fun event.
The all-day event the largest in the region takes place around Calne town centre on July 16, this year with the theme of Grand Prix superbikes.
Sponsors CMA Buildbase has arranged to display some of last year's superbikes, as well as donating a three day pass to the Superbike Grand Prix, which will be raffled in aid of Hope and Homes for Children and Macmillan.
Other prizes up for grabs include a mini moto cycle from Diddy Bikes.
Three bands will play live throughout the day Outhouse Critics, About a Girl Band and Calne Jazz Band.
Basic overnight camping will be available at £3 per bike.
Trials, riding demonstrations and ride outs will be taking place throughout the day as well as a bike jumble and trade stalls.
