GAZETTE & HERALD: PROUD dad Graeme McFaull will be looking on as his seven-year-old daughter Kirsten presents Princess Anne with a bouquet next Thursday to mark the opening of his firm's new European headquarters in Chippenham.
Mr McFaull, the managing director of road haulage giant Wincanton Plc in the UK and Ireland, said he was delighted that the Princess Royal had agreed to cut the ribbon.
The princess, who will travel to the Methuen Park offices from her official residence in nearby Minchinhampton, will declare the new premises open on Thursday at 11am.
After a tour of the building she will unveil a Bath stone obelisk with a commemorative plaque at the entrance to the site.
Paul Bateman, chairman of Wincanton Plc, will be welcoming local dignitaries including MP James Gray, Chippenham Mayor John Scragg, the High Sheriff of Wiltshire, David Margesson, the chairman of Wiltshire County Council, William Moss, the chairman of North Wiltshire District Council, Christine Crisp, and the district council's chief executive, Bob Marshall.
