An England and Wales Cricket Board pitch panel were last night deciding if Kent are to be docked points after 18 wickets fell on the second day of their clash with Gloucestershire in Maidstone.
The panel, made up for former Sussex and England seamer Tony Pigott, ex-Lancashire skipper David Hughes and legendary Surrey groundsman Harry Brind, planned to interview the match umpires, both captains and coaches and the groundstaff before announcing their decision.
On an enthralling day of three separate innings, Gloucestershire finished the third day on 79-7 in their second innings.
