This year, Volunteers Week (June 17) celebrates its 21st anniversary and once again there will be events throughout the country to acknowledge and thank volunteers for their huge contribution to their communities.
The week also provides an opportunity to encourage others to get involved in a club, project or organisation in their home town and really help make a difference. One of these organisations is The British Lung Foundation and volunteers are needed today in all areas of the country.
By giving a couple of hours of your time each month, you could help support your local Breathe Easy groups. Please support us so we can continue to help those living with a lung condition. Call the BLF on 020 7688 5576 or email volunteering@blf-uk.org
F McCabe,
Head of Regional Development and Breathe Easy
