BALLOONS will fill the air in aid of charity at a supermarket tomorrow. Staff at ASDA, in Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, are inviting customers to sponsor a balloon to raise money for the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (SANDS).
Chris Penelhum from ASDA said: "SANDS is a charity that is close to the heart of our family.
"I know that it has touched many people within the store in some way and I am pleased that my colleagues have decided to help support the charity."
Staff will be wearing yellow or white clothing to work next week as a mark of respect and to raise money and awareness for the charity.
The balloon release will be at 3.30pm after a Forget Me Not walk on behalf of SANDS to Heaven's Gate, Longleat, Warminster, starting at 11.30am.
Anyone can join the walk, meeting at the car park at 11am. People who want to sponsor a balloon at ASDA can call in at the store.
