HRH The Duchess of Cornwall will be a very special guest at a reception next week to celebrate Age Concern Wiltshire’s 60th anniversary.
The party, which is being hosted by RAF Lyneham in the Sergeant’s Mess next Wednesday, is being held to thank key supporters of the charity during its anniversary year and to celebrate its 60 years of service to older people in the county.
The celebrations will be marked by a fly past by a Hercules aircraft.
Age Concern Wiltshire’s director, Liddy Davidson, said: “We are honoured and delighted that Her Royal Highness has agreed to attend this very special occasion.
“Many more people have become aware and involved with the charity through our activities during our anniversary year.”
The Duchess will present prizes to the winners of the charity’s essay and poetry competition, which attracted 65 entries.
