SWINDON Town are offering children from military families the opportunity to take up one of 11 mascot places for this weekend’s game with Colchester United.
Town are looking for 11 children to lead out the first team on the day, with places available on a first come, first served basis with free places available to children from military families.
This weekend’s Military Day will see military personnel entitled to discounted match tickets. Discounted adult tickets are priced at £10 and £1 for Juniors and can be purchased via the STFC Box Office on 0871 233 2300.
Town will hold three military days this season, with the fixtures against Leyton Orient (Saturday, December 5) and Tranmere Rovers (Monday, April 5, 2010) dedicated to raising funds for Help for Heroes, the Army Benevolent fund and the RAF Benevolent fund.
Collections will take place for the games against Colchester United and Leyton Orient with a larger scale event taking place against Tranmere Rovers.
