Fire crews from North Wiltshire have been battling a large fire in the derelict Beaufort Arms pub in Wootton Bassett overnight.
The pub, on Station Road, has ablaze since 2am this morning.
Crews from Wootton Bassett, Swindon and Westlea were called to the scene in the early hours of the morning.
Two water carriers, a control unit and an aerial appliance were also in attendance.
All three main hose reel jets were used as well as the aerial platform.
Firefighters are still at the scene this morning.
Lis McDermott who lives in Station Road said she was woken by firefighters just after 2am.
She said: "They wanted us and our neighbours to move our cars. When we went outside there were a lot of flames.
"The pub has been derelict for at least a year. It has become a magnet for youngsters and a lot of people thought it was just a matter of time before something happened there."
