Crime writer Lyndon Stacey is going Malmesbury Library to inspire budding authors, Mrs Stacey, originally from Mere in Wiltshire, has been dubbed the queen of west country crime and the new Dick francis because she sets her thrillers in rural communities.
She will be sharing her experiences as an author and will talk about her recent novels and her writing career, and sign copies of her books on September 1 at 7.30pm.
Community librarian Carolyn Kennedy said: “As a library we are always trying to encourage authors to come and give talks and inspire our audience as it really brings the books alive.”
