The old boys will take on a team of youngsters at a charity football match in aid of wounded soldiers on Sunday.
The game will see Vanguard Sports taking on a team from the Bremhill View Social Club in a bid to raise money for Help For Heroes.
Organiser and manager of the Bremhill View Social Club Martin Belcher said: “Hopefully it will be a really fun day raising money for a good cause.
“There are too many soldiers getting killed and injured so we wanted to do something to help.
“We have not set ourselves a target of how much we want to raise – we are just trying our best.
“The more we raise the better really.”
The clash is a replay of a game played several years ago, when more than £3,000 was raised towards surgery to remove a birthmark from six-year-old Ellie Brown’s face.
Mr Belcher said: “The same teams will be playing this time – but we are all a few years older.
“Some of the Vanguard team are in their 50s now so Ken, who runs the side, has been phoning around to see who is able to play.
“They beat us in penalties last time so this time we are hoping to win.
“We are not really competitive, it is just a bit of fun.”
The match, which will kick-off at 2.30pm at Calne Town Football Club’s ground, will be followed by a barbecue and disco at the Bremhill View Social Club.
