Break-ins at derelict sites have prompted police to warn parents to what their children are up to.
Chippenham and Corsham police have taken a growing number of calls about children breaking into unsecured sites. In one incident a fire was started at the old HMS Royal Arthur site in Corsham.
On Sunday night the CoachStyle yard at Nettleton was broken into, diesel stolen and and coaches damaged.
Sergeant Mark Gale said: “Fortunately we have had any reports of injuries, but the fire at the old HMS Royal Arthur site could have serious implications.
“I know parents can’t keep an eye on their kids all the time, but they really need to do all they can to make them aware of the dangers.”
Anyone with information on the Corsham fire should contact PC Chris Tunstall on 0845 408 7000 PC Claire Boddie on the same number about the coach fires.
