Company director Sarah Hayward, 39, died after being involved in a crash while cycling along the A4 in Box last Wednesday.
Mrs Hayward, of Box Road, near Box leaves a husband Peter and son Harry, who will be two next month. She was born on April 13, 1970 to Irene and Colin Marsh and grew up in Bristol.
Following her education she worked in various administration jobs in Bristol before moving to Bath where she carried on administrative work before starting at a financial company in the city five years ago and became a director.
She met her husband Pete, a teacher, in Bath five years ago when they were both members of a running club and they married on July 29, 2006.
After moving from Bath to their home near Box they went on to have a son, Harry, who was born on September 23, 2007.
She loved keeping fit and enjoyed running and cycling.
Mrs Hayward ran a number of half marathons raising money for the Stroke Foundation and various breast cancer charities.
She also leaves two sisters, Sandra and Sue.
A service will be held at Haycombe Cemetery and Crematorium, in Whiteway Road, Bath at 1.30pm on Wednesday September 2, followed by a gathering at The Park, Tracey Park, Manor Road, Bath Road, Wick.
Mrs Hayward’s family have requested that people make donations to the Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers c/o Co-operative Funeralcare, Pulteney Road, Bath, BA2 4HP.
