More than 300 people turned out to enjoy a family fun day at Springfield Recreation Ground in Corsham helping to raise £600 for charity.
Friends Lucie Whiting of Beechfield Road, in Corsham and Siobhan Phillips, of Elm Road, Colerne, both 22, organised the event to raise money for their charity trek to Mount Kilimanjaro next year.
There was plenty of entertainment for people of all ages from a falconry display, fire engines from Corsham Fire, a St John Ambulance, stalls, and a raffle.
Miss Whiting, a marketing co-ordinator said: “The day went really well although we had hoped to raise more money.
“We have now managed to raise more than £4,000 for our trip next year – half of our overall total.
The friends signed up for the challenge earlier this year to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care in memory of family members who had died from the illness.
