Youngsters who look after older people, often their parents, got a special treat last week when they were allowed to look after some equine invalids.
They party from Wiltshire Young Carers met several retired racehorses at Greatwood Caring for Retired Racehorses at Rainscombe Hill Farm, Clench Common, near Marlborough.
The day also included a walk around the farm, care of Greatwood’s goats, sheep and poultry in addition to grooming the Shetlands and former racehorses.
