Bellringers from all over Wiltshire converged on St Mary’s Church in Bishops Cannings on Sunday to help celebrate the 100th birthday of villager Betty Combes.
The ringers also made a donation to favourite charity, Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal.
Bell ringer Lewis Cobb from Bishops Cannings, said: “The ringers were delighted that Betty managed to walk to the church to listen to the ringing and to meet and thank the ringers for their efforts.”
