The condition of a 14-year-old boy involved in a serious road crash near Corsham has improved dramatically, according to police.
The boy, who lives on the Thingley gypsy site, is being treated at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol for serious head injuries after being thrown from a white Ford Transit van, which collided with a tree near to Westrop on Lacock Road, on Friday July 31.
He suffered serious head injuries and until last week had been in a critical but stable condition but now week police say he has been moved to a ward as his condition had improved a great deal.
