The Royal National Institute of the Deaf (RNID) is inviting people to attend an event in Lacock to find out more about the charity’s work in helping people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
RNID representatives will be at Lacock Abbey on Wednesday August 12 from 11am to 1.30pm.
Visitors will learn about the charity’s vital role in driving forward research into understanding the biological basis of hearing loss and the technological advances which are making everyday life easier for deaf and hard of hearing people.
A care service manager will also explain the specialist support provided by RNID to help deaf adults with additional services to improve their independent living.
To express an interest in attending the event, contact Tania Knierim on 020 7296 8314 or e-mail: tania.knierim@rnid.org.uk.
