Corsham youngsters painted a resident’s wall on Potley estate as part of a community project.
The Jigsaw project, managed by Barnardo’s South West, worked with families from Potley to provide a colourful scene of people playing and dancing.
Architect Chris Hyde of Potley Lane built a wall at the bottom of his garden and offered it as a space for a community mural.
Mr Hyde, 55, said: “I think the children have done an excellent job and it has been something good for them to do in the holidays.”
Around 20 children aged five to 13, their parents and artists created the mural on Monday and Tuesday.
Mother-of-two Sue Antill, 34, of Pockeridge Road, said her boys Cameron, aged eight, and Frank, who is six, loved the work.
“It gave them something to do and they are very proud of the painting and what they have done. It was very nice of the man to donate his wall for this use.”
The mural was funded with £1,200 from Barnardo’s, Westlea Housing Association and Sanctuary Shaftesbury housing association.
