Children from two nursery schools in North Wiltshire said emotional goodbyes at graduation ceremonies.
At Humpty Dumpty Nursery in Calne, 11 four-year-olds in gowns and mortar boards were presented with certificates.
Manager Liz Anger called it “really lovely”. The nursery in the grounds of John Bentley School is in its third year and has been organising the graduation ceremonies from the start.
Meanwhile Leapfrog Day Nursery in Chippenham marked a milestone when youngsters graduated from early education at the weekend.
Sixteen four-year-olds, accompanied by their families and staff at the nursery, celebrated in style with a party and certificate presentation at the centre off Bath Road.
They performed their own rendition of Doh a Deer from The Sound of Music, and were paid a special visit by a balloon artist.
