Children made their own music and played different instruments during the Devizes Music Summer School.
The week long event for six to 11-year-olds was held at Southbroom Junior School at the end of July.
A total of 62 youngsters took part, which was slightly fewer than last year, and they had varying degrees of musical experience.
It was run by All Cannings music teachers Tim and Gill Hutchings who were assisted by other tutors and young people.
The children who took part came from Devizes, the Lavingtons, Melksham, Chippenham and Wroughton.
They all tried different instruments including recorder, cello, violin, piano, steel pans and guitar as well as singing.
The end of the week culminated in a concert by the children for their parents.
Mrs Hutchings said: “The children were divided into groups and they played all the different instruments. They also created their own music and sang.They worked hard during the week and enjoyed themselves.”
