The police helicopter was called out on Sunday morning following reports of a rave in a field near Park Grounds Farm, Wootton Bassett.
Police found 35 vehicles on the site at 6am and cordoned off the entrances to prevent more people arriving.
The drivers were then moved on by officers, who were concerned that it may have been an overspill from Avebury and Stonehenge Solstice.
