Enford celebrates the Opening of their new Village Hall on Saturday with a Summer Fete on the hall’s playing fields. Fun for ALL the family with kids football tournament, Climbing Wall, Fun Dog Show, Beer & Pimms Tent and plenty of food on offer as well as LOTS of kids entertainment. Entry is free.
Fully funded by Kennet District Council, Football Foundation, Big Lottery, Viridor Waste and Wiltshire CC, the Village Hall offers a Main Hall, Conference Room, fully equipped kitchen plus separate changing facilities for two sports teams and referees.
State-of-the-art technology has been incorporated using a ground source heat pump, providing heating and hot water at a quarter of the cost of conventional boilers plus minimising the impact on the environment.
From June, classes start in Yoga, Pilates, Short Mat Bowls, Self Defence and Toddlers’ Group with the Youth Club (and others) starting in September. There will be a showing of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ on 9th June and ‘The Young Victoria’ on 7th July. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start. Tickets: £5 in advance and £6 on the door.
