Calne residents may soon be able to spot themselves on screen after a controversial Internet mapping service hit the town.
Cameras for the Google Street View application have been seen in the Abberd Way area photographing hundreds of homes, people and cars along the way.
A Google spokesman said they can not confirm or deny if Calne will be featured on the website as it is not always possible to take photographs because of the weather and traffic conditions, but if images were taken they will be available for viewing within the next few months.
