Chippenham Rugby Club is showing its support for the armed forces by hosting a Touch Rugby Tournament in aid of Help for Heroes.
The event, which is being held in conjunction with the Royal British Legion, hopes to be as successful as last year’s international rugby match at Twickenham which also raised money for the charity.
Servicemen will be on hand throughout the day to provide displays.
There will also be stalls, a barbecue and activities running during the day, including rugby skills sessions.
The tournament will comprise three entry levels including eight to ten year olds in the morning and 11 to 16 year olds and adult events in the afternoon.
The needs support from companies, rugby clubs and schools in the area for team entry and sponsorship or to provide stalls and activities. For more details e-mail helpforheroes.crfc@btconnect.com
