No evidence was given today in the trial of Karl Quincey, who is charged with the murder of Barry Cooper, because a member of the jury was absent after she broke her ankle and was being treated in hospital this morning.
Winchester Crown Court was only due to sit this morning anyway and, after hearing no news on the juror's condition, the judge, His Honour Judge Guy Boney QC, adjourned the case until tomorrow morning when Quincey is due to give evidence.
Quincey, 33, of Longcroft Avenue, Devizes, has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Barry Cooper.
