Calne residents may soon be able to spot themselves on screen after a controversial internet mapping service hit the town.
Cameras for the Google Street View application have been spotted out and about in the Abberd Way area capturing hundreds of photographs of homes, people and cars along the way.
A spokesman for Google said they can not confirm or deny if Calne will be featured on the website as it is not always possible to take photographs because of the weather and traffic conditions.
But they could confirm that the cameras are driving around the UK at the moment and if images were taken in Calne they will be available for viewing within the next few months.
