My son and I have started jogging on a Saturday morning around Pewsey Vale School field.
Each time we take a bottle of water and jackets to wear before and after, which we leave in one corner of the field.
On Saturday June 6, we witnessed a dog owner allowing his two (what looked like Highland terrier) dogs to urinate on our jackets and bottle. We were at the other side of the field, and by the time we got around the owner and dogs had gone.
We have been running for several weeks and met many owners walking their dogs, all of whom have responsibly supervised their dogs.
We were appalled by this dog owner’s lack of consideration for other people’s property. If the owner concerned reads this letter, I trust he will act more thoughtfully in future.
Sara Jenkins, Pewsey.
