Pupils from St Peter’s Primary School in Devizes have bagged prizes after helping to promote Hillworth Stores’s new Pick and Mix sweet range.
Owner Maria Johnson introduced the new display to fill the gap left by Woolworth’s but thought the bags were boring so she asked the children to design their own.
The winners, Bethan Martin, seven, Annie-May Gibbs, nine, Jaye Green, 11, Callum Hennessy, 11, and Owen Turk, ten, each chose £2.50 of sweets.
The school’s adminofficer, Kate Spillane, said: “Everyone enjoyed it.”
