A three day festival of music and real ale will be held at the Woodbridge Inn at North Newnton starting tomorrow.
Publican Margo Adams said she was determined that this year’s festival would be even bigger and better than last year’s. “We have got over 20 real ales and ciders for the specialist ale drinkers and a great line up of bands for the weekend.”
There will be a Brass Monkeys cover band tomorrow; an electrified folk band The Dole Men on Saturday evening and on Sunday the entertainment will come from singer Frank Abrahams. Booking is essential on (01980) 630266 if you wish to stay over at the pub’s camp site.
Meanwhile The Crown in Wilcot Road, Pewsey will be staging its Solstice Beer Festival on June 19 to 20, featuring ten real ales, two ciders and two perries in addition to its usual five beers and two draft ciders.
