A woman driver was airlifted to hospital following a crash on the road between Devizes and All Cannings yesterday evening.
The road near the hamlet of Allington was closed for over three hours following the crash between a blue Citroen C1 and a Mercedes from the Czech Republic shortly before 4.30pm.
Although the woman driver of the Citroen was taken by air ambulance to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, it is not thought her injuries were serious.
Wiltshire Council contractors were called to clear up an oil spill and the road was reopened shortly before 8pm.
