Malmesbury dog trainer Ann Douglas thinks her new book will stop owners who are driven barking mad by their canine pets.
Just Bark Back, which has been published by the author, provides useful tips and tricks to keep a man’s best friend under control.
Mrs Douglas said: “The idea for the book started about four years ago.
“I’ve been running the Malmesbury Dog Club for ten years and I kept producing handouts for people who had questions about training.
“There got so many that people said I should make a book out of them and so that’s what I did.”
Mrs Douglas thinks there is a need for such a book.
She said: “The book is full of little things which if people did it would make their lives with their dogs easier.
“It’s not so much about specific training, just everyday actions which make living with dogs much easier.”
The book is available from www.just-bark-back.co.uk priced £7.50 and is also available from the Wootton Bassett bookshop.
Malmesbury Dog Club meet on Wednesday evenings at Charlton Village Hall.
