The Southgate Inn in Devizes could re-open next week after a recent refurbishment.
The Hop Back Brewery, based at Downton, near Salisbury, confirmed this week the pub would open to the public again soon, hopefully on Friday June 19.
It closed after former landlord Eddie Bonnifinni walked out. His whereabouts are still unknown.
The pub has been run in his absence by Charlie Moss and brewery chairman, David Law, this week confirmed they are hoping to sign up Mr Moss as the new tenant and looked forward to welcoming customers back to the pub.
