The Wiltshire Air Ambulance was called out yesterday morning to reports of an elderly woman suffering from serious head injuries at her home in Chippenham following a fall.
The woman who is believed to be in her 80s fell at around 9am and the air ambulance crew was called out at 9.10am.
They landed at Sheldon School and the patient was brought to the air craft by paramedics in a land ambulance before she was flown to Frenchay hospital in Bristol.
