The Swindon Wildcats are delighted to confirm that they will welcome 18 year old forward Samuel Bullas to their starting line up for the forthcoming ice hockey season.

Bullas split his time last season between the Elite League's Nottingham Panthers and the English National League's Championship winning Nottingham Lions, where he finished in the league's top ten scorers with 15 goals and 17 assists in 27 games.

The 6'1", 196lb forward comes highly recommended by his Elite league coach, Corey Neilson, and will be made available on a two-way deal for the Panthers in the Elite League when the Wildcats aren't playing.

"Sam is another great signing for us," explained Head Coach Ryan Aldridge.

"He is a power forward that has proved that he can find the net and make the pass.

"Unlike a lot of young players that have been coming through the system lately, Sam has demonstrated that he knows his role and knows that he will be an energy guy for us.

"He'll be taking the body, working hard all over the ice and chipping in with the points where he can.

"He wants to grasp the opportunity we're giving him with both hands and make a positive impression in Swindon.

"Like Housey, Sam is joining us from the Nottingham Panthers organisation and knows what it will take to be a professional player both on and off the ice.

"Sam comes highly rated from Corey and other coaches that have worked with him both for his hockey as well as his character."

After the signings of Bullas team colleague Woolhouse, former Bracknell Bees Foord & Baird, former Romford defenceman Krajicek along with the return of Gareth Endicott, Bullas will be the sixth new face for the Wildcats team.
