Wiltshire businesses have started signing up to help Age Concern Wiltshire achieve its £60,000 fundraising goal in its 60th anniversary year.
The latest to sign up for the Big 60 Challenge is Devizes sandwich bar Food Glorious Food in Snuff Street.
Owner Angela Pearce is to run a cake stall at the shop on Friday May 29.
She said: “Age Concern does wonderful work with older people and I am delighted to be able to help them out.
“I hope other businesses in the county will see their way to lending a hand in their own way.”
The Big 60 Challenge is trying to encourage 1,000 local residents and businesses to raise £60 and so meet the charity’s £60,000 target.
The charity’s director, Liddy Davidson, is leading by example with her keep-fit regimen of at least 60km a month on aerobic machines at her local gym and 60 repetitions a week on various exercise machines.
