PEACE protester Robin Brookes of Market Lavington has lost a legal battle to withhold part of his income tax.
Mr Brookes, a toy designer, has withheld a portion of his income tax bill in protest at the British Government’s involvement in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
He is one of a group, called the Peace Tax Seven, who took their case to the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg but the court refused to consider their application.
Mr Brookes said the group was determined to continue its campaign and was considering its next move.
