The Swindon Wildcats made it four wins in a row with a fantastic victory against the notoriously strong Slough Jets last night. The Wildcats powered to a 4-2 victory in front of the extremely busy mid week half term crowd.
The star man of the night was Wildcats youngster Matty Davies who put in a excellent display, whilst Lee Richardson capped off the scoring in the final minutes of the game after shooting into the open net as the Jets pushed forward for a equaliser at 2-3.
The super confident Wildcats now look forward to a home clash against the Peterborough Phantoms on Saturday 1st November at a 5.45pm face off. Following on from last night's victory the Wildcats have announced that they have released young Scottish forward Ryan Watt from the team.
Head Coach Peter Russell said. "We are disappointed that it hasn't work out for Ryan since signing him from local rivals Bracknell during the off-season period. It's disappointing for Ryan and it's disappointing for us, "Russell continued.
"He is not getting to play the kind of game he wants to play here with us, and it's in his best interests and those of the team that we release him now."
