A popular daytime television show has paid a visit to Royal Wootton Basset.

An episode of the antiques show Bargain Hunt was filmed at RWB Auctions last week, and is expected to be broadcast sometime in 2025.

The show involves members of the public buying antiques and then trying to sell them on for a profit, and has aired regularly on BBC One since 2000.

Regular faces from the show, Eric Knowles and Izzie Balmer, were on hand to lend their expertise to contestants, while Antiques Roadshow specialist Serhat Ahmet was also featured.

The auction house posted a preview of the Bargain Hunt filming on November 22.

"On that Wednesday we have Bargain Hunt joining us, they will be filming four different episodes of their programme. So come and join us."

The transmission date for these episodes is yet to be confirmed.

RWB Auctions is a customer-focused auction house on High Street that regularly hosts sales in person and online, which are led by head auctioneer Gareth Wasp.

The auction house sells jewellery, coins, antiques, clocks, ceramics, fine art, glass, books, furniture, and more.
