One of Wiltshire’s most famous couples thrilled staff at a Norfolk chippy during a recent visit.
Giles Wood and Mary Killen, who have been regulars on Channel 4’s Gogglebox since 2015, were described as “charming and delightful” after a visit to Norfolk.
During their trip, the Pewsey couple dropped into Platten's Fish and Chips in Wells, a quayside restaurant and takeaway.
The pair caused excitement amongst staff at the venue.

In an Instagram post, the business said: “Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the lovely Giles and Mary from Gogglebox to Platten’s.
“They are currently in Norfolk visiting friends and came by for a delicious fish and chips lunch on the recommendation of someone who knows just how good we are.
“We are thrilled to hear they enjoyed their time with us (and their meals too, of course!).
“It was such a treat to meet them both and they were just as charming and delightful as you would imagine.
“Thank you so much, Giles and Mary for stopping by—we hope to see you again next time you’re in Norfolk!”
