Three people have been arrested after a man was seriously injured in an alleged attack near a town centre.
A 35-year-old was hospitalised with a serious injury suffered on Wood Lane, Chippenham, at around 9.30am on Monday, November 25.
Police previously said they had cordoned off the area because a man had suffered a “puncture wound” during an alleged assault.
Three suspects have since been arrested in connection with the incident and have been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Officers are continuing to probe the alleged assault and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault which took place on Wood Lane, Chippenham, at around 9.30am on Monday, November 25.
“If you were in the area of Wood Lane at around 9.30am and saw something please call 101 and quote crime number 54240139173.
“We are also interested in any dashcam footage, doorbell footage or CCTV in the area.
“Alternatively, please contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
