A car park in Wiltshire has been closed off to the public while essential works get underway.
As of Friday, November 22, the East Wing car park in Trowbridge which is located just across from the County Hall on Bythesea Road has been closed to all members of the public.
Trowbridge's County Hall is one of three public offices for Wiltshire Council, with the others being in Monkton Park, Chippenham and Bourne Hill, Salisbury, and its car park is regularly used by council workers and those wishing to meet with the council.
In 2015, the car park went through major upgrades to make it simpler for visitors to use the facilities and meet people at the offices, in an attempt the break down any barriers between the council and residents.
But in a public announcement, Wiltshire Council has now confirmed the car park has closed for "non-intrusive essential groundwork."
This closure will last for the entirety of November 22, but the car park is expected to reopen on Saturday, November 23 assuming there are no unplanned delays.
