A new salon is set to open in a Wiltshire town and hopes to create a “warm and welcoming” environment.
Bee Louise x By Sarah Salon and Training Academy is due to open on New Road in Chippenham on the first week of January 2025, with a previously empty unit now being transformed.
The town’s newest salon will be co-owned by business partners Bee Louise and Sarah Woolridge, who have both run their own beauty businesses over the last few years.
As well as offering customers treatments, it will also be a training academy for budding beauticians in the area.
Ms Louise first started her business when she was just 16 and has now been qualified for six years.
She told this paper opening her first bricks and mortar salon was the “next step”.

She added: “I’m really, really excited for a new venture and I feel like it’s the next step for my business, so I’m super excited for a new beginning.
“I’ve built an amazing client base and they’re all like really good friends now, I love being an at home salon, but the next step is to open a physical salon.
“It’s a new challenge, the location is perfect because there’s a lot of footfall, and it’s also close to parking and public transport.
“It’s a great bit of town with lots of other shops nearby and that’s really important as a new business to have a prime location.”
Ms Louise will offer a wide range of lash and brow treatments while Ms Woolridge will specialise in nail treatments.
The pair will both be offering training sessions with Ms Louise focusing on one-to-one courses and Ms Woolridge offering both one-to-one and group bookings.

“It will be a really good and welcoming place for clients to come, enjoy a treatment, and have a good chat”, said Ms Louise.
Through the training academy, Ms Louise wants to teach others that there are routes to successful careers “outside the classroom”.
She added: “I didn’t enjoy school and wanted to go off for myself and found a love for beauty treatments.
“I started teaching in 2022 because I wanted to give other people an escape from a 9-5 job and help them enjoy their work and make their own hours.
“Nowadays a lot of people are in jobs they don’t enjoy and I’m so lucky I enjoy my job.
“We want to welcome people into this industry and hopefully they love it as much as we do.”
