Drug-growing equipment worth hundreds of pounds left outside a former cannabis farm in Trowbridge has mysteriously disappeared.
The equipment, including electronic timers, reflectors and air purifiers, was left on the pavement outside the historic Handle House in Stallard Street.
By Friday morning (November 15), the equipment had gone and the door to Handle House appeared to be smashed open.
Trowbridge Town Council leader Stewart Palmen said: “The owner is clearing out the debris from it being used as a cannabis factory and put these out for them to be collected by a scrap merchant who appeared not to have collected them.
“Last time one ended up in the river and is still there.
“They have disappeared this morning and the place has been broken into again and reported to the police.”
The Wiltshire Times has contacted Wiltshire Police for more details and a comment.

Handle House owner Stuart Long, who runs companies in the New Forest area of Hampshire, brought the historic Grade II* listed property in March.
Mr Long said: "I came down on Tuesday to clear some of their stuff out and left some metal bins or whatever they are outside for the scrap man to collect.
"I did the same three weeks ago and they collected everything."
Police confirmed in July that Mr Long is not believed to be a suspect.

Close to 200 cannabis plants in an early stage of growth were found by Wiltshire Police when they raided the cannabis farm on Tuesday, July 23 after being tipped off by a member of the public.
Police were alerted after the passer-by saw the Heras fence surrounding the property had been broken and that a door was open.
He then smelt an “incredibly strong” aroma of cannabis and called the emergency services.
The property was immediately sealed off and guarded while a police forensic investigation team gathered evidence.

In August, Wiltshire Police confirmed that no-one has yet been arrested or charged. They have been asked for an update on their investigation.
Prior to Handle House laying vacant, the property was previously used for 1,834 square feet of office space spread over two floors.
