A fundraiser to support those who lost their homes and business in a “tragic” town centre fire has raised thousands.
The Kebab and Pizza House on Northgate Street, Devizes, was destroyed in a fire on Tuesday, November 12, and the town has since rallied to support those affected.
The owners of the takeaway have lost their homes and business in the blaze while other residents had to be evacuated.
A GoFundMe has been set up by Kayleigh Sainsbury to help everyone impacted by the incident and at the time of writing had raised nearly £7,000 in 48 hours.

She said: “Hamza and the three guys who work alongside him are so lovely and are loved by many.
“Now homeless and out of work we’re hoping as a community we can help them in any way we can.
“After being notified the residents of the properties next door have also suffered, we have raised the fundraising amount to help all involved and hope it’s a stepping stone in the rebuilding of homes and lives.
“Thank you for your time, generosity and kindness.”
Meanwhile Jacki Harvey, of the nearby Vinyl Realm music shop, has been running a physical collection box as residents and businesses try to help.
Fundraising organisers have also been “inundated” with donations of clothing and toiletries.
