A supermarket chain is calling on Wiltshire shoppers to nominate charities for a share of its winter fund.
Aldi has announced it will be donating £10,000 to charities across the country in the run-up to Christmas.
Shoppers are being asked to nominate charities, community groups, and food banks that they believe should receive a share of the fund.
The nominations will be reviewed by a panel of representatives at the supermarket, and the chosen organisations will receive cash donations to help them manage increased demand during the winter months.
If customers want to nominate a charity or organisation they should email aldiwinterfund@citypress.co.uk with the name and location of the organisation, as well as a brief summary explaining why they deserve the donation.

Liz Fox, national sustainability director at the supermarket, said: "The winter period can be an incredibly challenging time for many people across the country, and we are committed to doing everything we can to support those in need.
"We hope our shoppers can help us identify charities that could benefit from this donation to continue the incredible work that they do to help their local communities."
As well as the winter fund initiative, shoppers can also contribute by donating food to local charities, food banks, and community groups via the community donation points in Aldi stores across the county.
As part of World Kindness Day Aldi has been encouraging customers to acknowledge staff members who have improved their shopping experience. It could be by helping them in finding the products they need or simply by having a friendly chat.
Earlier this year, Aldi announced its second pay increase for store staff within the space of 12 months, taking the supermarket’s investment in pay this year to just under £80 million.
The starting pay for store assistants at Aldi is £12.40 per hour nationally, rising to £13.35 per hour.
The initiative is an extension of Aldi's ongoing commitment to supporting both its employees and the communities it serves.
The supermarket chain has stores in a number locations across the Wiltshire area, including Melksham, Chippenham, Chippenham Methuen Park, Trowbridge, Westbury, West Wiltshire, Royal Wootton Bassett, Amesbury, Shaw Road, Swindon, Romsey Street, Malmesbury, Drove Road, Swindon, Salisbury, Hobley Drive, Swindon and Latham Road, Swindon.
The supermarket has been encouraging all shoppers to play their part in supporting local communities during the challenging winter months.
